  We were in town for a couple of days, and we like to try local places looking for hidden gems. On the way into the restaurant the plants in the planters were all dead from neglect. You just go into a small porch area which had a strange smell. Right inside you are met with a glass dessert case that had the biggest peanut butter marshmallow squares I have ever seen. I ordered the small fish and chips and my husband the 10oz hamburger steak. He ordered gravy with it because it doesn't include gravy he chose the fries over roasted potatoes. The burger patty was overcooked on the outside it was actually like two brown crusts with crumbly hamburger in the middle. The onions on top were really good. The fries had potential they just needed some of the crispy that the burger got. There were frozen mixed veggies on the plate that should have been left in the freezer. The piece of fish I got had batter that was still a liquid next to the fish! The fish was not big flakes like cod should have. The coleslaw had no dressing. I took peanut butter cheesecake home and it was delicious. The service was very good.
